Comerío, Puerto Rico

Comerío is an agricultural community of around 20,000 inhabitants (2000 census). It is located in the central part of the island, some thirty minutes away from Bayamón. Puerto Rico' longest river, Rio La Plata, borders the town of Comerío. La Represa (Dam) de Comerío creates one of the largest water reservoirs on the island.

The patron saint for Comerío is "El Santo Cristo de la Salud", celebrated on August 6.

Comerío is located some 30 minutes away from Bayamón on PR Road 156.
