can use their cards in Puerto Rico. In general terms, they will have
access to all the services provided by their cards in their country of
residence. For example, if your card permits obtaining a cash
advance from Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) in your home state,
most probably you will be able to access this service from ATMs
throughout Puerto Rico.
In order to be sure which services you may enjoy during your stay, you
may want to contact your credit card companies before a planned trip
to the island.
Automated teller machines (ATMs)in Puerto Rico are commonly referred to as
ATHs, which are the identifying initials for the first such service
established on the island.
Most major credit card companies have offices established in San Juan.
