Guaynabo, Puerto Rico

Guaynabo is one of the fastest growing cities in Puerto Rico. with a population exceeding 100,000 (2000 census). Guaynabo is part of what is known as the Metropolitan Area, which also includes San Juan and all its surrounding major cities, Bayamón, Carolina, Caguas and Cataño.

The patron saint for Guaynabo is "San Pedro Mártir", celebrated on August 15.

Guaynabo is one of the preferred living areas for wealthy people who can afford the price of some of the prime real estate on the island.
