Juncos, Puerto Rico

Juncos is located on Pr road 30, about midway between Gurabo on the west and Las Piedras to the east.

The fertile plains of Juncos made it a likely location for agriculture in its early history. In recent times, many manufacturing plants have moved in, giving a boost to the economy of this town of 36,400 inhabitants (2000 census).

The patron saint for Juncos is "La inmaculada concepción de María", celebrated on December 8.
