Las Piedras, Puerto Rico

Las Piedras is a town of 34,400 inhabitants (2000 census). Las Piedras is located on PR Road 30, between Juncos on the west and Humacao to the east.

The fertile plains of Las Piedras made it a likely location for agriculture in its early history. In recent times, many manufacturing plants have moved in, giving a boost to the economy of this town.

The patron saint for Las Piedras is "La inmaculada concepción de María", celebrated on December 8.
