Morovis, Puerto Rico

Morovis  is ocated south of Vega Baja on PR Road 155. It also links with Manatí, Vega Alta, Orocovis and Ciales. The roads leading into Morovis are some of the most picturesque and scenic around the island.

Las Cuevas de Cabachuelas, a cave system that extends throughout a large portion of rural Morovis, is said to be one of the most important objects for archaelogical study on the island. The caves were used by many Indian tribes. Many relics from those times are still waiting for scientific study.

The patron saint for Morovis is "La Virgen del Carmen", celebrated on July 16.
