Naguabo, Puerto Rico

Naguabo  is a town of approximately 25,000, located in the eastern coast of Puerto Rico. Its neighbors include Ceiba to the north and Humacao to the south.

Many visitors to Naguabo come for the fresh seafood to be found in its restaurants and roadside eateries. Others come for any of several festivals held throughout the year. Some of these are held at the Naguabo beaches, which are about 15 minutes away from the town itself.

Pedro Flores (1894-1979), one of Puerto Rico's best known composers, and Ramón Ortiz del Rivero (Diplo) (1909-1956), comedian, were born and raised in Naguabo.

The patron saint for Naguabo is "Nuestra Señora del Rosario", celebrated on October 7.
