Hot Buttered Rum/font>


Ingredients:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 lb confectioners sugar, sifted
  • 1 lb light brown sugar, sifted
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 1/2 oz Dark
  • cinnamon or nutmeg sprinkle Rum

Preparation

Blend the sugars with the butter until smooth. Add the ice cream and blend until smooth and creamy. Place in the freezer tightly sealed. Holds up to one month in the freezer.

Place two tablespoons of the mix in a highball glass. Add 1 1/2 oz Dark Rum. Pour 6 oz of boiling water over the mix. Stir until the mix melts. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.
