Sevens upIngredients: Preparation In a large jar, mix one quart of anisette with one quart of rum. Set in the middle of a (preferably) round table with a shot glass nearby. Name designated drivers as judges and bartenders. Seat your remaining guests around the table. Going clockwise, have each guest begin counting at one. Each next guest should rapidly give the next number.
No numbers are admitted that end in seven or are multiples of seven
(seven, fourteen, twenty-one, twenty-eight . . you get the idea). Instead of those, the
corresponding guest should say "Sevens Up". A loss is incurred when a guest says
"Sevens Up"
incorrectly, or when he fails to say it on a number ended in seven or multiple of seven.
The penalty for a loss is to drink a shot from the shot glass, served by the bartender.
