Limbers de leche(non-alcoholic)
Ingredients:
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cup sugar or other sweetener to taste
- 1/3 tsp vanilla flavoring
- 1/3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 or 5 oz plastic cups
Procedure:
Bring milk to a boil. Add egg yolks and let simmer while stirring. Add sugar and stir.
Remove from heat. Add vanilla and cinnamon to taste. Allow to cool.
Pour into 3 or 5 oz cups. Do not fill to the brim. Place in your freezer. After one hour or so in the freezer, limbers are at their best: not fully frozen, yet more solid than a frappe. However, you can let them stay in the freezer for as long as needed.
